DOG SHIT

Who can tell me the people who chuck dog shit bags onto the course, at the side of the 7th path.

These people need a firm hand or even a firing squad of dog shit being chucked at them.

See how they like it.

Comments welcome on this subject.

Plugging work that the greenstaff have been doing over the last month or so.
This is where we get the plugs from to do the work on the greens.

Star of the month

Worker of the month is this stud muffin.

What do you think.

He has started on a high again, one minute he has a flymo in his hand then the strimmer. This lad is a good worker and needs telling so.

The ditch on the 8th seems to be working well, looking at the amount of water running down it.

We have had 63 mm of rain in 7 days from 24th March to 31st March.

Sanding of Sign for 11th tee

Here are some photos of the Course board that was Vandalised a while ago, being sanded and then painted for the season.

All chainsawing will stop now until the chainsaw masicure returns.

Vandels again

Hello to you all

The vandels were back last night they took down the gate on the 2nd and drove in and skidded around the back of the 2nd green in the bunker and then drove back out over the gate.

We have now fixed the gate so it can't be lifed off its hinges, I wonder where they will strike next.

Bunker work and snow

This is the lads having fun on Friday when the snow came.

These are some of the bunkers we have been working on 9th green and 6th green.

Vandels on the course

The vandels came on the course last friday and made a lot of mess, they smashed one of the course signs off the 11th tee, trampled some gorse plants, chucked a divot bin in the 7th pond, pulled out some young trees and chucked tee markers all over the place.
It seems to only happen on a Friday, hope this weekend they stayed away.

Water on 18th fairway

Well its here again the salt water from the sea.
The last few days the tide has come up the drainage pipe and watered the 18th fairway.
